About ScheduleBuilder

Embed published ScheduleBuilder schedules in WordPress with a shortcode or Gutenberg block.

ScheduleBuilder is the simplest way to add a schedule created at ScheduleBuilder to a WordPress post or page.

Create and publish a schedule in ScheduleBuilder, open Share WordPress, and copy the shortcode. Paste it into a Shortcode block, paragraph, or Classic Editor. The plugin renders a responsive schedule that automatically adjusts its height as the schedule loads and on smaller screens.

There are no plugin settings to configure. Keep your schedule’s design, dates, events, language, and title visibility in ScheduleBuilder. Editing the published schedule in ScheduleBuilder updates every place where it is embedded.

Ways to embed

  • Shortcode: Paste the shortcode copied from ScheduleBuilder, for example: [schedule_builder id="pub_0123456789abcdef0123456789abcdef"]
  • Gutenberg block: Add the ScheduleBuilder block, then paste the published schedule ID from ScheduleBuilder’s WordPress tab.
  • Legacy shortcode: Existing [sbo id="..."] shortcodes continue to work.

Optional shortcode attributes

  • locale — interface language: en, de, es, fr, pt, ru, or sv. Defaults to en.
  • show_title — use false to hide the schedule title, for example: [schedule_builder id="pub_0123456789abcdef0123456789abcdef" show_title="false"]

The WordPress tab in ScheduleBuilder creates the appropriate shortcode for the chosen language and title visibility, so most users do not need to enter attributes manually.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I find the schedule ID?

Open your published schedule in ScheduleBuilder, choose Share, then open the WordPress tab. Copying the shortcode is recommended because it includes the correct published schedule ID.

Why is my schedule not shown?

Only published schedules can be embedded. Return to ScheduleBuilder, publish the schedule from the Share dialog, then copy the fresh shortcode from the WordPress tab.

Do I need to configure plugin settings?

No. The plugin has no settings page. Update the schedule in ScheduleBuilder, and use the WordPress tab there to choose the language or whether to show the schedule title.

Will the embed resize on mobile devices?

Yes. The plugin loads ScheduleBuilder’s lightweight embed client, which adjusts the iframe height as the schedule’s content and screen size change.

Can I keep using the old shortcode?

Yes. Version 2 continues to register [sbo id="..."] for existing posts. For new embeds, use [schedule_builder id="..."] or the ScheduleBuilder block.
